March 22, 2006:
Our buddy Azad stumbled upon this film by
Pejman & Sasan that was produced for
Filmgeneration back in 2004. Better late than
never, right? Check out Delay Effect.
October 23, 2005:
Scott Gillies has decided to share his latest
project with the Filmgen audience. A parody of
1950s Educational Videos, "How to Impress
Girls, vol. 3: DANCING" is full of helpful
instruction on being popular with the ladies.
Hilarious, watch it now.
May 7, 2005:
Back in the winter of 2004, our buddy Danny Lee
shot a short video called "Where the Big Kids
Play", complete with secret portals to other
worlds ruled by giants. Check it out!
November 10, 2004:
Adrian Jebef shot a little short called "Beware!"
a few months back and Filmgeneration finally got
its hands on a clean output from iMovie. Shot on
the Panasonic DVX 100, the short is about a
special visitor that shows up at a man's
doorstep.
September 9, 2004:
Sam and Lerone return in the flash animation
series Flix. In episode 3, these two cinema
fanatics discuss film piracy and poke fun at the
series of public service announcements that play
before movie previews here in the states. Flix 3
features the talents of Mike Gleason, Alex
Dubin, and Brant Englestein.
August 14, 2004:
While out in Cologne, Germany, Azad Jafarian of
SmartDonkey shot a short with his cousin and
friend using the Canon XM2 (GL2 in the US).
This unscripted piece is called Candlenight, shot
inside the famous Dom in Koln.
February 23, 2004:
Our friends from the East Coast have come
through with the second installment of "Flix".
This time Sam and Lerone present their own
awards show to celebrate the upcoming
Academy Awards.
January 17, 2004:
The creators of "Flix" have informed us that Sam
and Lerone will be back in February for another
episode, just in time for the Academy Awards.
Let's hope that the members of the "KYWO" also
bring us more of their own brand of Kentucky
"humor".
We're waiting for the members of "Smart Donkey"
to send us something that they worked on a while
back for us but it looks like their director, Azad,
is off to Morocco to shoot a documentary for a
few weeks.
